About The Artist

Brian Nguyen grew up in Southern California where the outdoors was so accessible. Having the ocean, mountains and desert all within a two hour drive, Brian was inspired by how much there was to see. After joining the Surf Club at Cal State Fullerton, Brian fell in love with the ocean and spent most of his free time surfing, diving, or just being at the beach. His artwork mainly consists of marine animals sculpted out of a combination of reclaimed wood, glass, leather, and metals. Since Brian graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Glass and Ceramics, he has been working as a part time barista in order to fund his sculpting passion. Brian currently lives in Anaheim where he is working out of his garage.
